The People’s Education Society (Mumbai) has laid a foundation of Dr.Ambedkar College of Law, Nagasenavana Aurangabad on 15th June 1968 in order to fulfill the long cherished desire of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb B. R. Ambedkar. He was convinced that education would create the rights and essential dignity in individual human being. Dr.Ambedkar College of Law has been providing an opportunity for the promotion of Legal Education in the fast changing of its environment. At present Legal Education is no longer restricted to the four walls of class room, and court rooms but it involves an interdisciplinary approach for career choice. Legal Profession is one of the redefined careers as an effective tool to stand on one’s own feet. The college has an eminent teaching staff including legal practitioners and non-teaching staff, well equipped Computer Lab, a rich library consists of Law Reporters, Journals, Books, Magazines, References also having Separate Hostel facility for Boys and Girls, Sports Complex, NSS activities, Legal Awareness Camps, Moot Court Competition, Guest Lectures, etc are organized for all round career development of the Students. It is my sincere belief that our Law College has continued its efforts to nourish and promote quality education through class room teaching and research in order to achieve new benchmark in imparting the Legal Education.
